MissioMaze is a simulation game of hard but realistic choices commonly faced by missionaries who go overseas to join a Bible translation team for the first time. Where will you live? How will you interact with local people? How will you deal with delays in the project, or unforeseen crises? With each choice you make, the church may have more access to the translated Scriptures, or the project might falter and even fail!
Do you have what it takes to survive the MissioMaze?
Features:
• Each question takes some time to play out. You have time to consult a friend, pray about your choice, or ask your church leader!
• Your success is measured in ‘Church engagement’, as the local people gain a desire to have and use the translated Scriptures. Can you make it to 100%?
• After the first play in timed mode, fast mode allows you to play it without the timer delay. Ideal for playing it with friends in a small group setting.
Wycliffe Bible Translators exists to enable all peoples to engage with the Bible in a language that speaks to their heart. Over a billion people worldwide do not have because they do not have access to the story of Gods love for his people them - the story of the Bible - in the language that they understand the best. Of the 7,000 languages in the world today, only 550 or so have a complete Bible. Find out more at wycliffe.org.uk/missionmatters.
